Fees

What PLAYS charges, and what it charges today.

PLAYS does not collect any fee today. Fees below are assessed and recorded for every execution so they can be audited, but they are waived during the beta.

The fee is charged only on quantity that actually filled. Failed, canceled and unfilled amounts are never charged. PLAYS earns when you put a Play on, not when you reduce risk.

Worked example

LONG NVDA  $1,000
SHORT AMD  $1,000

Gross filled notional  $2,000
PLAYS fee, 5 bps      $1.00 (assessed, waived in beta)

Venue fees, funding and slippage are separate. They are shown in the cost summary before you confirm, and the PLAYS fee always has its own row.

A minimum fee of 0.10 dollars is planned for non-zero fees. Every execution records the fee policy version it was assessed under, so past fees stay reproducible.
