Funding and withdrawing

Deposit, withdraw and claim.

Deposit

A deposit is two wallet transactions: an approval for the exact amount of USDG, then the deposit into your own Lighter account. Funds can only go to your own address. The minimum is 1 USDG.

Withdraw

A withdrawal request is signed by your trading key in your browser and sent to Lighter. Lighter can only return funds to the wallet that owns the account, so there is no destination to choose. It is a secure withdrawal that settles through the chain and can take a while.

If Lighter does not send the funds on its own, they appear under Ready to claim on the Account page and you can claim them with one wallet transaction.
